History of Alysia Loire
Despite the Loire curse of love challenging her, Alysia was able to take many lovers over the course of her life, helping to create her true legacy: her children. Her first love, a man named Joxer claiming to be a warrior stumbled into the amazon village of Ephesus where he met the young Alysia, fresh from her tribal initiation. Just a passing fling, Alysia however found herself with child. With Meg Leandros there with her, Alysia gave birth to a stillborn daughter, and named her Kora Elena Loire before putting her to rest.
Heartbroken over the death of her daughter, Alysia set out to travel to Rome several months later to visit her mother. It was on the roads leading to Rome where she met Hercules, the son of Zeus and the two began a short lived, though passionate affair. Both traveling warriors, Alysia did not meet Hercules again until months after she gave birth to their daughter, Cora Alena Loire, the namesake of her elder deceased sister. Hercules felt a great love for his new family, but with Alysia being an amazon, and the Queen of the Gods Hera having previously killed Hercules' first family, he felt an obligation first to protect Alysia and Cora, and so . . . he left them.
Several years later, a man named Iolaus approached the amazon village seeking help after being attacked by a local warlord's gang. Alysia and other amazons treated his wounds and allowed him to recover for several months in the village. He and Alysia fell in love and she gave birth to their daughter Callia Aeren Loire. Iolaus left the village with promises to return, and return he did. A year late he came back to his amazon love and the two conceived another child, a boy. However during her pregnancy, Alysia discovered that Iolaus was the best friend of her former love, Hercules. Anger in regards to the curse of love that had been passed down from mother to daughter, Alysia took her children and left Ephesus and the men of her past, heading east toward Themiscrya where she could start anew. In Themiscrya, she gave birth to her first son, whom she named Wulf Herakles Loire, to appease Hera, the patron Goddess of her new tribe.
After an attack on the village, Alysia fled to Rome, seeking to meet up with her mother there. Hiding her amazon markings, Alysia found herself in a tavern brawl with several Roman centurions. Her quick defeat of them brought the attention of Livia, the Champion of Rome who was in need of a new second in command of her armies. As the women grew closer, Alysia fell in love despite Livia's betrothal to Augustus Caesar, Emperor of Rome, as well as an affair with Ares the God of War. However, bringing the two women closer was a child that Livia claimed to have found abandoned during a small civil battle in the upper hills of Rome. The girl, who they would name Karina Livia Loire, was in fact Livia's natural born daughter with Augustus, whom she carried and delivered during her time outside of Rome, kept secret from Augustus. Alysia too felt a connection to the girl, and called her Karina after hearing the name in a dream. During an attack on Rome by the Warrior Princess Xena, Livia changed her ways and left Rome all together. Alysia was busy leading Livia's armies in the south region of Italy, unaware of what was happening back within the city walls. After arriving on horseback, she was told that Livia was now a fugitive of Rome, and that their daughter Karina, had died in a riot. Unaware that Karina lived, Alysia left Rome to seek after Livia, who was now calling herself Eve, the Messenger of Eli.
After a bitter confrontation with the woman now called Eve, Alysia began her self destruction and sought out the God of War to help her. Promises of immortality intrigued her and Ares insisted that if Alysia gave him a child to ensure his own immortality, he would somehow reunite her with Livia. After the birth of their son, Kaden Levi Loire, Alysia came to her senses and realised that she needed to seek healing. Desperate to keep Kaden a secret from Ares, she abandoned him at an orphanage in Rome, asking the matron to raise her son knowing who his true mother was, but not the identity of his father. Kaden would grow and reunite with Alysia many years later.
As Alysia tried to reconnect with Livia and also find healing for herself, she was lead to an Elisian Temple where she was well cared for by the temple workers. There she was taught the true message of love, one that Eve had gone to other worlds to preach herself. As she tried to mend her ways and follow the path of love, she found that old habits die hard and soon the amazon warrior had fallen in love with the leader of the Elisians, a man called Eli D'vi. Unlike many lovers of her past, Eli forgave her misdeeds and even welcomed her children into his home, most notably Wulf who was growing into a young man. After several years living in the temple and adopting a daughter they named Faylorna Selene D'vi, Eli asked Alysia to be his wife. Soon after, Alysia found herself with child once more and she gave birth to another girl, calling her Vyianna Elizabeth D'vi. As the years passed, the Elisians were being attacked more often by outsiders, Romans and the Gods. During a very large attack, Alysia killed three men to defend her family; Eli realised that the amazon warrior within her could never be completely erased. They divorced and Alysia left her daughters in Eli's care, as he wanted Fayla and Vyianna to never know the blood soaked amazon lands.
Traveling as far north as she thought possible, Alysia had a confrontation with a creature she had never before seen. Like man but not, he and Alysia battled fiercely, sword to sword. He told her about a land further north than she had ever been where the ways of an old world called her there. Alysia was destined to find the land, but truly the creature wanted her as far away from the Elisians as possible, knowing that she was a great corrupting influence. Succumbing to her charms himself, one night later and Alysia found herself traveling north, alone, and pregnant. After reaching the land she would call Scynthia, Alysia took her claim as the rightful Queen of the Amazons, and there gave birth to Kalira Sumara Loire Sadu'Kal, calling her after Ktor Sadu'Kal, a lover Alysia had taken in another life. Ashamed to admit Kalira's true father after finding out that he was a messenger of Eli's God, a creature called an angel named Michael, Alysia hid his identity from her daughter. It was here, in Scynthia that her daughter Karina returned to her and learned the ways of the amazon.
Many years later when all of her children had grown up and moved away, Eve found herself being called to the north where she reunited with her true love, Alysia. There, she admitted Karina's true birth, and the two began to rekindle their romance and heal old wounds. When Alysia's daughter Cora returned to Scynthia, she explained the ways of the amazon to Eve who decided to participate in a mating ritual with a Dacian man. The daughter, Aleya Callisto Daphnis, would be a child shared between she and Alysia. One last connection. But as the Loire curse worked itself again, Eve was drawn away from Scynthia for many years, leaving Alysia to raise Aleya alone.
